A little less formal than black tie with pops of color encouraged. Tuxes not necessary. If you need inspiration check out this <a href="https://www.pinterest.com/kgnotices/kat-ryans-wedding-guest-attire-inspo/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">mood board</a>. Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside while the reception will be in an air-conditioned tent.

They also offer complimentary shuttle services to and from the venue for the wedding!

DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond Airport

This hotel is in the heart of Downtown Richmond. While we do not have a room block reserved here, it is a happening part of town and great for exploring!

Courtyard by Marriott Richmond Downtown

This unique boutique hotel is nestled in Richmond's Arts District. We do not have a room block here, but if you are looking to explore Richmond's art galleries this is a great one to look into! This location is also nearby to Scott's Addition which is where some of our favorite breweries are located. They also have a really nice rooftop for taking in the views or enjoying a cocktail!

Quirk Hotel Richmond

This hotel is centrally located in the city, a couple blocks from VCU campus, a short drive to our favorite breweries and neighborhoods and walking distance from the arts district. We do not have a room block here, but they have a pretty epic rooftop bar.

This is where we had our first date. A fantastic museum to stroll around in and look at some great art. They've also got a lovely restaurant that overlooks their lawn!

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

Kat's cousin Mariela's very own store! A woman and LGBTQ+ owned book store in Brookland Park. Check out her curated selection of used and new books! You could spend hours here!!

I Love You So Much Books

Vasen is one of our favorite breweries in the city! They have a great selection of beers from IPAs to Sours to Lagers. Occasionally in the summer they will feature an Apricot Calamansi Gose that is super refreshing.

Väsen Brewing Co. - Scott's Addition

Maymont is a beautiful park in Richmond. If you are looking to get outside and go for a walk in some beautiful gardens- this is a great place to do it!

Our favorite bakery in our neighborhood. Their pastries are baked fresh everyday- if you plan to check this place out try to go early! They typically sell out in the early afternoon.

If you want to see what Richmond is called the River City, head over to Belle Isle for a nice stroll along Potter's Bridge, right on the James River! Kat and I love going to the river during the summer.
